Day 106: Psalms 65-67, 69-70

We spend so much time and effort trying to look good. I don't mean physically...I mean spiritually. None of us like to reveal the fact that we have sin in our lives...even though we all do. Oh, we "admit" that we are all sinners in the most general of terms but rarely if ever do we get specific.

But here's the thing:

You, God, know my folly;
   my guilt is not hidden from you. (Psalm 69:5)

And even better:

When we were overwhelmed by sins,
   you forgave our transgressions.  (Psalm 65:3)

And on a more personal note:

But as for me, I am poor and needy;
   come quickly to me, O God.
You are my help and my deliverer;
   LORD, do not delay. (Psalm 70:5)
